Trailblazers - As a parent/child YMCA program, Trailblazers is a continuation for older children of the YMCA Adventure Guides Program. The Trailblazer program offers children in 4th through 8th grades more challenging and varied experiences. It allows them an opportunity to continue to strengthen the relationship between sons and fathers through trust, companionship, understanding, and communication. The children are given a primary role in the design and execution of the program, while the parents provide emotional support during the process.
